Once the SmartPhrase is added to your list of SmartPhrases, you will be able to bring it into your note. This is how it looks when you are using the SmartPhrase.

You will be able to click through the options as you review the information with family and then quickly document their responses by selecting the response from the drop-down menu. There are questions about communication, triggers, pain, nonverbal cues, support items, and behavior patterns.

You can use the responses to help guide your care for the child such as using pictures to communicate if this was preferred. Or for example, if a response indicates that light may cause the child to become anxious or agitated, you can plan to dim the in lights the room when appropriate.
