Welcome to Stanford’s “Vaping Prevention: A Self-Paced Online Course.”
You will be completing 5 learning modules which each contain the following:
4-5 lessons each packed with activities, infographics, and short videos. Our philosophy for each lesson page was less lecturing/reading and more active learning.
Each lesson contains an assessment called “Review and Reflect,” which asks you to answer a critical thinking question based on the previous lessons in that learning module.
At the end of each learning module there is an assessment or quiz with multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions. You receive feedback on your answers and are allowed to redo the questions when you are ready.
The whole course is self-paced, meaning you can take as much time as you need. You are welcome to break up your time doing the course and we recommend going in order from the beginning to end.
There are videos and activities on e-cigarettes and more topics sprinkled throughout the course, so remember to enjoy this experience. We designed this course with the hope that you would have a good time learning more about this issue that affects the health of young people.
